Returns & Exchanges

We understand that sometimes what you receive is not what you expected. We also understand that these items are often as precious to you as your time on the water. For that reason we want to make sure you are not only satisfied, but happy with your purchase. If you are not satisfied with an item please feel free to send it back for a full refund (less shipping costs), or to exchange it for another item.

*We will gladly accept returns within 20 days of the date of purchase of regular priced items in unused condition and its original packaging ONLY.  Shipping & delivery costs are not refundable.

All purchases of gift cards, services, special or custom orders, flies, leaders, tippet, items marked for clearance, or sale priced items are final.*

 

Refund Options (for all regular priced items):

  • Refund to the Original Credit Card (If within 20 days of delivery)
  • Refund to an District Angling Gift Card (If after 20 days of delivery)
  • Replace Item (Please specify size/color for replacement)

Please include the following information with your returned items:

  • Name, address, phone number, and e-mail address
  • A copy of your receipt
  • A brief description of why you are you returning the item? We want to know why you were not satisfied. (Your feedback is important and helps us improve our product selection and customer service.)
  • Whether you would like an exchange for another item or items, or would prefer a refund
  • If you prefer an exchange, what are the new item(s) you would like us to send you?

**Refund amount may vary. Items will be reviewed/inspected to verify it is in "new condition and in it’s original packaging".  Items not found in this condition will either be returned to you with NO refund issued, or charged a restocking fee (typically 15% of the items total less taxes). 

 

Shipping

All orders are processed within 24 hours of receipt.

We know that your order is important to you and we want you to receive it as quickly as possible. In the event that we are not able to process your order as usual, we will contact you immediately to let you know what’s holding us up. 

If an item is out-of-stock or backordered, the stock level and anticipated arrival date is indicated on the item page before adding it to your cart.  If you still decide to add it to your cart, we will notify you promptly and ship it as soon as it becomes available.

Should an item be out of stock longer than expected we will be sure to let you know and give you the option of either keeping the item on backorder or canceling the backordered item.

 

District Angling Shipping & Delivery: Domestic U.S. (Orders shipped within the continental United States)


Ground / 2-7 Day Delivery: 

In-stock merchandise will normally arrive 3-5 business days after the order is received. All orders are shipped via FedEx or USPS. A street address and a phone number are required. Sorry, we cannot ship to PO Boxes.


Express / 1-3 Day Delivery: In-stock merchandise will be delivered within 1-3 business days after your order is received. These shipments will be sent via FedEx. A street address and a phone number are required. Sorry, we cannot ship to PO Boxes.

 
*Please note: Express orders placed after 3:00pm Eastern Time will ship the following business day

 

Additional Shipping Details:

  • Business days do not include weekends or holidays
  • Some large and/or heavy items may require additional freight charges; these items will be noted on the product page
  • Ship dates and delivery dates are valid for in-stock items only
  • Some merchandise on this site is not available for air shipments. Certain tying materials, such as head cements and lacquers/paints cannot be shipped Express

 

Sales Tax

District Angling is required to collect state and local sales tax on orders shipped to states where we have a business presence. Some states require charging sales tax on merchandise and shipping, while others charge sales tax only on merchandise; we are required by law to follow the tax laws of each state. 

Currently, we are required to charge sales tax in the following states:  VIRGINIA

For all other states and international orders, there will be NO sales tax charged.

 

Gift Cards

No sales tax is charged when purchasing a gift card. The appropriate sales tax will be charged (if applicable) on the purchase when the gift card is used.

 

International Orders

  • All orders are shipped via USPS Priority International or FedEx International. Please allow 5-10 days for delivery.
  • All orders must be paid in U.S. funds. Credit Card exchange rates are calculated automatically by the credit card company on the day your order is processed.
  • The recipient is responsible for all applicable duties, taxes and customs fees.
  • Packages over 42" (106 cm) in length cannot ship via Express Mail International.
  • Some merchandise on this site is not available for international shipment. Certain tying materials, such as head cements and lacquers/paints cannot be shipped overseas.
  • Shipping alternatives and import duties vary by country. For more specific international shipping details, please contact one of our customer service representatives at:  [email protected]
  • Additional shipping charges may be required for oversized items.
